Hi all! I'm in Vancouver, WA across from Portland, OR and have decided to try SFG this year. I didn't do too much until last year and even then started too late in the season to get anything from my initial attempt at gardening except cherry tomato's (which never made it into the house!) I did play around with hydroponics which I will continue with this year (side note: this would be 'LEGAL' hydroponics, thank you very much!) In fact, I am blogging my results on another gardening site as well so should be interesting.

I started with one raised bed, that came with the house (we live in a rental) but decided to jump whole hog into it and will have 3 4x8 beds and 2 2x6 beds with everything from herbs to veggies and some flowers. It is all an experiment to me until we finally get into our final house.
