@noudo25......I notice you haven't posted much so take it you are a newbie. Welcome to the forum. Lots of folks here can probably answer your questions but I'll give it my 2 cents worth.

Did you just plant the boxed peppers recently? Did you harden them off first? Is it very hot lately? Sometimes transplants take time to adjust and they get a bit yellow, but in a week they usually brighten up to green again.

As for the tomato, is it a determinate or indeterminate? If its an indeterminate (vining type) I think you need to stake, cage, or tie up your plant then remove the suckers as needed. The suckers are the little plants starting in the vee between the main stem and a branch. It will make your tomato very heavy with new growth. Those suckers are actually new plants starting to grow.

You remove suckers from the bottom up, as the tomato grows. When flowers start to blossom, you can remove any sucker between the stem and the flowering branch.

If its a determinate (bush type) then you need to stake or cage the plant but do NOT remove the suckers. All the growth rushes to produce fruits for only about 3-4 weeks.

You can grow tomatoes in one square, but you need to train them upwards to do so, otherwise they'll spread all over the place.

I think if anything I planted those peppers to early, they have been in the box for a month. I had to cover them because of a frost a couple of times. I don't know....maybe they are lacking something in the soil?
