I have a peach tree that produces double peaches. Some people would think that is great but every year where the two peaches are joined together I get weevils that get into the pits and then the peaches rot.I spray with NEEM oil once a week but the problem comes back every year. What can I do different?

I have no idea how to tackle that problem. It seem s the perfect thing to contact your County Co-op Extension Ag Agent about. They can get you on the right track. Good luck.

Have you been pruning to one peach every 6 inches of branch? I just planted a peach tree and all the research I did beforehand stressed aggressive pruning of the tree to one fruit to 6 inches of branch.
If you are, then I have no idea either sorry.
