I planted these bell peppers from seed and transplanted a couple weeks ago. They all have buds/blooms. The tallest is close to 1 foot tall, but the smallest is only maybe 4 inches! Should I pick the blooms off to let them get bigger or should I just let them go? I don't think these plants could hold up a pepper, it would be bigger than the whole plant!

I have in the past pinched out the top of all the pepper transplants so the plant would get bushier. This is my first year of starting my own plants. I just pinched one of mine today because like yours it was so tiny yet. We here in the south can afford to do so as we have plenty of growing time left.

It seems to me that plants know what they're doing - generally. Last year my peppers looked little and puny like that, but it took so long for the pepper to develop that the plant had time to catch up and devolop a very strong stem by the time they were big enough to need support.

I say give it a chance!
