what's happening to my tomato plants?
I hardened them off, and put them into the boxes. No problems. They looked really healthy when they went in. 3 days later, they are puny and weak, drooped over and looking pathetic. Some of the bottom leaves are dying. I stick my finger down into the soil and it's moist, so I don't think they're under watered, but maybe they are? How would I tell?

It's most likely just transplant shock... hold the water and give it a few more days. If you are expecting a frost in the night cover it up to protect it. Tomatoes do not survive frost.

It's gotten into the upper 40's here, but not close to a frost. They were outside in those same conditions before I transplanted them.
Transplant shock...you'd think going into that much good soil they'd be happy! lol
