I am a novice gardener and I just joined the Square Foot Gardening forum. I live in Morgan Hill, CA (18 miles south of San Jose) and I am really looking forward to learning how to garden smarter and easier.

Have you had the chance to read the All New Square Foot Gardening book (2006) yet? It is jam packed with info and is the best place to start.

If you have questions on a certain topic, the best place is to use the Search feature in the upper left column. Type in a few words (i.e., coco coir or peat) and make sure the "Search SFG Forum" box is checked. This will save you from having to wait for someone to come along and answer the question.
