worm castle question
I bought one of those worm farm layered plastic jobbies, and it has a few levels.
I am not quite sure at what time to add the second story.
My worms although had a rocky start, have recovered and are THRIVING
The bottom collection part has filled up with castings, so yesterday I scooped it all up, and scooped a few stray worms out of it and added THAT to my artichoke beds.
the layer that the worms were in is full of worms, bit of pretty broken down food and the paper. (I used shredded office paper, which does not seem to break down as quickly as shredded news papers)
There are lots of castings in the worm bed, and so I have added the next layer
Any advice??

Re: worm castle question
Wish I did, I just have a single layer 18 gallon bin with a lid since March 1 this year.
