I appreciate both of you for doing this. It takes a special kind of person to donate their time to keep a forum going.

Welcome to the new RHs
I have seen women looking at jewelry ads with a misty eye and one hand resting on the heart, and I only know what they're feeling because that's how I read the seed catalogs in January - Barbara Kingsolver - Animal, Vegetable, Miracle

Re: Welcome New Hosts!
Thanks for the welcome, y'all!
@ annamagpie: If you scroll WAY down below the "Square Foot Gardening" forums that are for everyone on the Home page, you'll find all the "Regional Forums"...one of those is for the "Western Mountains & High Plains". It's a several forums before you get to the "International" section.
If you're like me, you often pay more attention to the "Latest Topics" on the left hand side of every page...though I try hard to remember to check each forum regularly to see what's new there that might not be listed on the left, even though it's not in the "Latest Topics." Sometimes this group of gardeners posts a LOT in a very short time!

Re: Welcome New Hosts!
Thanks all. I promise you I didn't volunteer for this host position because of my vast gardening knowledge! I just like hanging out here and usually have no problem checking in daily, so I'll be happy to help our PNW forum along by greeting new members and getting the planting calendars posted. But did you know I have to come up with a Rookie Topic?! Homework??!! D'oh!
Debs, if it helps, my name is just Gwen. GWN is way prettier and more talented (I saw her music website), and a better gardener, so for her sake let's not mix us up!
