Broccoli Sprouts & Husbands
Guess that should be singular since I only have one husband.
Hubby had Friday off and wanted us to go see a movie. I totally hate going to the theater & I told him that the only way I could go was if he promised to help me clean the house in preparation for a SFG class.
We got back from the movie & he cleaned the kitchen (in the same time it took me to do the bathroom, living room, dining room & office PLUS the front porch and back deck).
Getting ready for the class on Saturday morning I was looking for the just-ready-to-harvest Broccoli Sprouts.
(now where did those sprouts go?) Oh well, they DID just look like damp paper towels in a zippy bag.

I have seen women looking at jewelry ads with a misty eye and one hand resting on the heart, and I only know what they're feeling because that's how I read the seed catalogs in January - Barbara Kingsolver - Animal, Vegetable, Miracle

I do have to be in the habit of checking the garbage can for things that aren't supposed to be in there. But that's because of my 1 y.o. boy, not my husband.
What movie did you see?

What movie did you see?

Mine usually disappear after planting. Hollyhocks vs. Mower. Any bets which always wins? I have learned to plant ONLY in designated, clearly defined beds - preferably raised so no chance of mower invasion!
Plus side? Hubby is VERY thorough at mowing - lawn looks much better after he does it instead of me!

There isn't anything I would not sacrifice for date-night (or afternoon) with my guy. I don't care how long it takes him to clean the kitchen, I love that he will. He must really like you.

Lol. I'm the total opposite. I would sacrifice anything for a date night (or afternoon) and my wife would be the one tossing the sprouts
