Ticking Timeclock
It's felt like an uphill climb getting all of this together. DH has been too busy to help, I've done what I could and wait (im)patiently when I couldn't do it alone. ANYWAYs.... We have to go out of town from Saturday afternoon until Sunday evening. I've got 1 bed filled and ready, and a few plants and a bunch of seeds. I'm wondering if I should go ahead and plant them before I leave and water them really well, or wait until we return. I've felt very rushed especially with the weather being unseasonably warm.

Re: Ticking Timeclock
If you forecast is hot this weekend, wait until Monday. You have to keep the seed beds moist. If you lose that window, you lost the seeds, but won't know for a weed or more when they don't come up.
Put the plants inside. They'll be fine.
But I'm not wise yet.
