I've got cilantro that needs to be planted & thought I better post this while I'm thinking about it.

You can freeze cilantro for salsa. I never use an entire bunch from the grocery store when I make salsa, so I do a rough chop in the food processor with some tomato or even tomato juice & freeze in ice cube trays, then pop out & put in freezer bag. Then whenever I make salsa I just put however many cubes I want in my salsa & let them thaw. Guess what I'm going to fix in a few minutes?

Great idea!! I guess the same would work for parsley and some other leafy herbs - especially if they're going to be used in cooking, rather than as a fresh garnish.
