Thank you! He was not an Arabian, but his mother did a fabulous Arabian impersonation. Her face was slightly dished and had that classic Arabian look to it. She was Thoroughbred/Hanoverian, the horse in the photo was 3/4 Hanoverian, 1/4 TB.
no pun intended but it's called a quarter horse.

As for Speedos, water polo players still wear them. There were two popular phrases. One was 'grape smugglers.' They leave nothing to the imagination.
AVA..... you owe me a new keyboard and some screen cleaners ..I was drinking a mug of tea & had a mouthful of it when I read your final line to the post.
Oh you guys make me laugh, just for the record thongs ARE shoes here and Speedos and thongs are almost a national uniform in some parts of Australia! Our national Opposition leader is regularly filmed in Speedos as he competes in ocean swims. not a pretty picture, politicians in Speedos, kind of takes away your confidence in their ability to run the country!
'Grape smugglers'? Here they're known as budgie smugglers!
Well...there was another phrase too...'over the hips w--nie grips" whch is more in line with your smuggler phrase.
We were watching the Muppet Show DVDs, I was stunned to see how tight men's pants were in the mid-late 70s (when speedos were also the "in" thing for all men). Did it begin with Mark Spitz and zenith with John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever? Crazy time for fashion.

I don't think Josh needs a hair cut yet but he may benefit from some of those pink snap on plastic bow barrettes and you may be needing some monster vegetable seed.boffer wrote:Unofficial Poll
