camomile tea and fertilizer
Has anyone here used diluted camomile tea as a foliar spray on seedlings or seed trays that are slow to germinate?
I read on another forum where people have used this to prompt those late seedlings to emerge. Another variation (second step if the tea doesn't work) was to add 20-20-20 liquid fertilizer to the tea.
I am thinking of trying this on some columbine and foxglove seed cells that seem to be reluctant to break the surface, hoping that it will work and it's not either dud seeds or I'm not too late with helping.

Re: camomile tea and fertilizer
One thing I found this year with columbine is that I planted almost 2 full containers of them, and got about 5 plants.
What I had not noticed is that they are supposed to be put into the fridge or something for a few weeks and THEN they take 28 days to germinate.
So I put my seed trays out in the cold for a few weeks and then brought them in.

columbine issues
I had that same issue with columbine. It irks me that there was NO mention of needing to do this anywhere on the packages of seed. I've moved mine out to the greenhouse to see if that prompts them to "hatch"
