Ndgarden.....
My favroties list for us bloggers at SFG is coded : Blogs SFG Members
When I save a blog, before I save it when the box comes up asking where I want to save it, I move my cursor to the beginning of its title.
I add the person's SFG name, then their state abbreviation which I put on the front, such as chopperCA TheLife.....etc, DixieTN Diggin...etc.
When I look down the list of my blogs, I can find someone in my state or a state closeby or even a favorite poster, by looking at the list. They are all in alpha order because that's how I sort my favorites listing.
Its an easier way for me to know who's blog is whose as well.
I just wish more of you would post more often. Some haven't posted for months.
Happy blogging!

Although gardening is not the only subject of my blog, one would figure out pretty quickly that it certainly is my passion.

If You Have a Blog
Wow! I've seen some really nice blogs here, and I've commented on a couple. Looks like there's enough to keep me busy for quite some time.
This is my 3rd consecutive year of gardening and the second year I'm blogging about it. I just put up a new post today. I hope you enjoy it.

Re: If you have a garden blog, please post it here...
I started a blog http://y9fvg.blogspot.com when I received a plot at my community garden. This is my first gardening experience and I'm using my blog as a way to document what I've learned along the way.
Thanks to all of you who have blogs which provide me with so much information and inspiration.

I replied to this under your original post in "Show us yours" and I must of clicked post as you were deleting, it showed up somewhere really random, lol. I was wondering why you chose to do cardboard for under your beds. I was thinking of doing paper and wanted to know if it was more beneficial to use cardboard. Building this week. :o)

Re: If you have a garden blog, please post it here...
I took a SFG class and that is what the teacher recommended for our area in north texas - because of invasive grasses - I did weed block, cardboard, and newspaper - and she recommended a layer of DE to avoid fire ants but I didn't have that on hand

Re: If you have a garden blog, please post it here...
In the one year I've been doing SFG I've done boxes with cardboard and weedblock, just weedblock, and just cardboard. I've also had to move boxes...and I've found that cardboard and weedblock together was much better than just either.
P.S. We've got a Sunbeam bean plant in our garden.

Hickory's adorable, and I love how you set up your square foot box.
You're lucky you have a place to buy bread for 75¢; for anything decent around here it's close to 3$ a loaf.
Re: If you have a garden blog, please post it here...
ouch! its that much in the grocery store here - this is the "day old" bread store - I buy and freeze it

For your first gardening experience it sure looks like you're gonna have something pretty spectacular. That's quite an impressive to do list you've got.
I had a community garden in the housing complex I lived in. That had to be about 10 yrs ago if not more. I just did it the one year and then didn't garden again 'til 3 yrs ago. Now I have my own garden and I'm really enjoying the process of experimenting and learning.

You're still lucky cuz day old bread is still 2$ - 2.5$ We don't really get good deals on anything.

I worked all day on my latest post. It's amazing how much time it takes to get the videos and pics just the way you want them.
I started prepping, some seedlings are dying, and an interesting article about damping off.

I'm not one to post when I have an update, however if you follow Monsanto in the news, head on over to my blog and click on the link on today's post.
Hi Kerrie Jo
You have a nice easy to read blog Kerrie Jo. I see we have a few things in common: quilting, gardening, and a shortage of follow through skills. . . LOL
Re: If you have a garden blog, please post it here...
I have a blog but it's not about gardening in specific so read at your own risk. ;-) I actually don't have anything about a garden up yet but my latest post is about my backyard so... it's close-ish to a gardening post.

Big Seed Companies
Farmer Valerie I just finished reading your post about the big seed companies. I'm thoroughly disgusted. It seems like every day brings us all closer to having every aspect of our lives being controlled by giant evils like Walmart and corporate "farmers"
