TooTall, here's what the page says:
"They used BEHR exterior flat latex paint, sanded the (blue plastic) barrel, then primed it with Rustoleum spray paint – using about 2 ½ cans to get it even. Her husband drew the design and they both began to paint.
Georgia has said the next barrel will be painted to look like a whiskey barrel. The contents of the barrel will be water, though, and used in her backyard in her gardens."

That tomato avatar makes me hungry for tomato sandwiches.
If I paint my rain barrel, I wouldn't be able to get that fancy with the design. I was thinking just a simple single color as the base and then maybe some stripes or something.
Now if I can talk my sister-in-law into painting a cool design on it for me, then that would be really cool
