No it was a song called do what you do do well
It went something like
Do what you do do well boy
Do what you do do well
some your heart and a bit of your soul,
just do what you do do well
Its pretty old.....

Re: finely some photos
You guys are so nice and uplifting. I will be the one green with envy come july when I am strugleing to keep my plants alive though the summer heat. I may even just pull them all out and start over when it cools off like the smart gardeners do down here. I say that every year and just can't seem to do it. I might just use a different shade cloth who knows.

Re: finely some photos
Shade cloth...now that's an interesting one! I may have to look into that, too.
LOVE the photos! I thought you were using a macro lens...I especially love the one where the bug is 'sitting up' and looking at you.
VERY impressed how much growth you have in your garden already. When do you plant? Is this a 'cool' or 'warm' garden?
I jumped to flicker...GREAT idea on inverting the bottles in their base. How did you hang it on a fence?

Re: finely some photos
Thanks it is the macro setting on my point and shoot. The "sitting up bug" is a native american bee common name sweat bee. I like that one too. It is my warm garden aside from the lettuce and I did manage to plant the cucumbers this morning. About time too. Tomorrow's plan is to get the soy and runner beans in the ground.AvaDGardner wrote:Shade cloth...now that's an interesting one! I may have to look into that, too.

learned the water bottle trick from Josh. I punched two holes in the back of the base and then used heavy gage wire twisted onto chain link I like how they just seem to float there. Check out Josh's "wall of flowers" post.
