I'm so sorry...but can I ask about another one?
I'm sorry for being such a dunce, but there is another one
that I never knew the name of...and maybe y'all know.
My mother in law brought it over in 2003. I planted it on the side of the house that never gets watered and forgot about it (yeah, that was my mode of operation back then...hopefully I've reformed and changed my ways). She never knew the name of it, but it grows in her yard, too. She got a cutting from someone's house back in the 70's. I don't have a picture of the flower, but it's blue. It's a single flower (not compound like the verbena). The leaves are burgundy-purple. Burgundy veined leaves and stalk. I don't know why I think lobelia, but it doesn't look like the lobelia I'm finding through google. It also doesn't come up through a search of blue flower, purple leaves or burgundy or red etc.
I think this is the last orphan in my yard...I hope...
well, my computer is having a problem uploading the file...so I'll restart and be back with a picture.

I never came back and posted the pic! I'm sorry, but flickr and Lightroom weren't playing well together, and then something came up...houseful of kids, something always comes up! Thanks
