C'mon Wednesday!!!!!
Taking the day off and it's going to be sunny and 75 degrees. Yahoo!
I originally took it because it's my birthday but now I can get my garden going too. Just didn't feel like going to work on my b-day. Already celebrated the day this past weekend as my son was home from college.
But now, thanks to the nice weather, I can get all those nitpicky things done and enjoy what looks to be a very beautiful day. Time to move the Azalea as it's struggling where it is now. Normally, on a day off, I would sleep in but that's not going to happen. Lots to do and I now have the time to do it!
I have a couple bushes that need to be trimmed back also. Going to be a busy day for sure but who cares when the weather is so nice. Hope everyone is getting back to the gardening we all enjoy.

Funny how much more fun it is to run out to the yard to work instead of going to work to work.

You can say that again.
Here it was really nice. I spent a good bit of my morning cutting down the ornamental grasses here(saved the trimmings to go into my compost) and taking inventory of all of the spring bulbs popping up.

Re: C'mon Wednesday!!!!!
I hope you have a MARVELOUS day. I got some of my stuff planted this past weekend.

LOL I hope something pops up before Saturday's class. If not, I've got some broccoli & cabbage seedlings in the house.

Yesterday I got all the plastic off the hoops and dressed 5 of the nine "brides" (tulle on the hoops). Don't think the garlic bed will need tulle. Rain today.

Hi all, and happy birthday SQFTBIX. Today has been amazing -- I've hardly been in the house all day. My garden beds are clean and ready, and each one of my Little Girl magnolias has a few beautiful pink blooms showing. I do love spring.

Happy Birthday SQFTBIX!!
Blue skies, sunshine and warm weather so........
I took a chance a also planted this past Sunday some carrots and peas.
This weekend I will plant some more carrots and lettuce.
I will be going on vacation in a little over a week and didn't want to wait until I returned.

No assembly. Just take it out of the bag. I think they're about 5" unto the ground

I'm fortunate that it's a "business expense". I really NEED to have my beds in tip top shape for my classes.

Re: C'mon Wednesday!!!!!
It most definitely does IF you don't mind losing it if your business folds.

Hi Kim,
Love your tunnels. I was just wondering, what is (are) the main purpose (s) for using them? Which type did you purchase? I might want to invest in them later.
Tks.

My husband and I work at home. I am an employee of a regional office of education, but he is a retired independent contractor. Because we use our computers for BOTH personal and work, our professional tax person claims a PERCENTAGE of the computer expense (including Internet provision), as well as a percentage of our home expenses including mortgage, utilities, etc. (I think this may be a way to avoid "losing the computers".)
It used to be that you had to have a designated workspace in your home in a separate room, but according to our tax person, so many people are working at home now, that that has changed and you can figure a percentage based on your workspace. So because we live in a small craftsman style bungalow, there is no designated room for an office, but we use a good half of our dining room for that purpose (including files and cabinets to store office related stuff and his desk and bookcase), so we can take a percentage of the costs associated with the home. Clear as mud, right?

Sorry for taking the thread off track - and now back to your regularly scheduled dollar store (or "pound store" as your currency may dictate) shower curtains which look GREAT by the way!
