This sounds like a yummy thing to do with green beans. Charred green beans.

camprn, those beans sound delicious! I also love that the recipe uses tarragon - a herb I hope to grow this year. I have also cooked green beans on the stove top in a little olive oil until the ends are slightly charred. Then I add red pepper flakes. It is quick and easy and a great way to use those huge yields of bean from our SFGs. I surprised myself by discovering how much I love green beans when they are home grown. I have never cared for the canned or frozen kind.
