Treasure trove!!!
Reading the TT thread, I got some ideas.
We have moles and bunnies and squirrels and a kitty and three dogs so a TT seemed to solve some potential problems.
Do we get saw horses or build legs? Oh, I know what we can do, says my Dear One-- (notice she's now in on the garden thing-YEA!). Remember the table from the lawn set that the wind picked up and shattered the glass? It's 3 1/2' x 3 1/2'---perfect!
So now she's cutting the plywood scraps that we had in the shed to fit, screwing in the driveway (shh-hh don't tell anyone.)
Meanwhile, I'm digging around in the back shed. Yippee!! Three wooden dining chairs that are unsafe for human rearends but will support a 2' x 4' box in the front yard. Chairs painted bright, funky colors----oh, the ideas are going crazy in my head!!!! Maybe even sitting on some artifical grass ('cuz I don't wanna weed).
And I even found an old mailbox to use to put whatever in, as suggested on this thread.
Now if the vermiculite would just arrive!!!!
Havin' FUN!

So glad to hear you are getting ready for planting in Virginia.
Keep going, it sounds great. Please share pictures when you can, I want to see those funky chairs and the Table Top.

not so funky chairs
The only colors that HD had in their mis-mixed paints were a cream, a med dark blue and "butter cookie". It's gonna work----I mean, for $3 for all of the paint...... Have one chair nearly painted and waiting for the spindled legs to dry before attempting another coat. I hope the vision in my head is what actually happens!!!!

Oh yeah, and I'm attempting to dry the two bags of compost that got drowned in the rain. I have it spread out on a tarp--one bag looks like a giant cow pattie (which it was at one time!!).

Productive day
Yesterday we got: 4 x 4 TT set up, 2-2 x 4 set up, vertical sans netting, two chairs painted, weed guard laid under artificle grass. Even a couple of mosquito bites!! When I figure out photo insertion, I'll post pics!
WHERE oh WHERE is my vermiculite--we're burning daylight here, folks!
