Re: tulle or other row covers
I got 6 yards for 2 separate 4x4 boxes with hoops and it was perfect so 3 yards per box.

Awesome! I'll have to keep my eye out for more coupons...I'm determined to have some broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower for myself this year! Already saw the first male cabbage moths out and about, so need to act fast!

Re: tulle or other row covers
wait, so I can actually just use plain old tulle from JoAnn's to cover my beds?! I learn new things everyday! I have a 3x3 raised carrot bed, which moths of some kind love and I'm overrun (I think) by their offspring devouring my seedlings.
Anyway, I've always thought of needing to secure the tulle at the bottom. But someone mentioned burying it into the dirt, and actually securing it at the TOP - brilliant!
I'm going to go dig my JOAnn's coupon out of the recycling bin now.....

Re: tulle or other row covers
You might want to compare prices before buying any. Wally world had it about .97 a yard.

Re: tulle or other row covers
I use all these at different times of the year:
burlap, tulle, netting, screen
Screens in the beginning when the plants are tiny,
Tulle & netting now over hoops or directly on the plants,
Burlap when they need some shade.
