SFG Calla lilies and newb
Does anyone have any experience with the Calla lily plant? If so, have you tried growing them using the SFG method? How successful were you? I'd love to be able to grow the beauties for myself someday.
I'm a newbie with gardening. I also live in a desert with a work schedule that makes any garden tricky to keep. So it may not get started right away... but as soon as I can, I'm going to start my own SFG!

Re: SFG Calla lilies and newb
lonewolfrissy, glad to have you join us.
I have grown calla lilies, both the miniature in bright colors and the tall white ones, but never in Mel's Mix. I grew them in the yard before I heard of ALL NEW SQUARE FOOT GARDENING.
We have several members that grow varioius flowers in Mel's Mix, so hopefully someone here has experience with callas.
Looking forward to hearing how you are doing with your SFG.

Thank you!
Glad to be hear! I'm doing a little research on it so I'm a little better prepared, Calla bulbs are a tad pricey and I don't them to die because I made a mistake somewhere along the line.
