Re: New to SFG
I think your garden looks fantastic. My purple peppers were turning when I left town. Some were in pots so I took them to a friend to see if he could enjoy. Also took 2 tomatos.

7/24 update
Here is my periodic update. Not much to speak of. Tomato's are doing great. Getting them on a regular basis now. Just need to keep the birds off the near ripe ones. The chickens love the leftovers though. I put in some butternut squash around the corn. I lost about 6 baby shoots of corn to some sort of bug that cut them at ground level. It's round two on the corn so I am not too worried if I succeed or not with them. I put in some romaine lettuce, filled in every opening I could with beans. The cantaloupe plants are doing great. Flowers everywhere and spreading like crazy. First sunflower opened up yesterday. They are just for decoration. The eggplants I put in are struggling for some reason. Peppers are slow but coming along. I started some Spaghetti Squash and brussel sprout seeds in a wet paper towel last night. They will go in as soon as they start to germinate. Here are my photos from this morning. I am using this thread as my journal for this year since I haven't kept up with writing things down.
