Hi from DFW Texas

Hi, all! I'm John.

This is my second year to do Square Foot Gardening and I've expanded a little bit this year. But I'll post more about that in the Lower South regional forum later.

I bought the ANSFG towards the end of 2010 after running across this method somewhere else, I think maybe on the internet. I really enjoy this method of gardening. I've only been gardening about 5 years (37 years old) and was growing stuff from containers in the beginning. I really enjoy growing things that I can eat or use, but I do have several other flower / pretty plants growing as well.

Anyway, I've been a lurker on this forum for a few years and finally decided it was due time to create a username and get to interact with all of you nice people a bit. Let me tell you, I've long-been impressed with the helpful and kind people that post on this forum; and I'm glad to be a little part of it now Smile

So glad you decided to join us. We can always use another SFGner with some experience. It is great comparing notes on what worked well, and what is not working as well as we had hoped.

Furbalsmom - I'll do what I can to help, for sure. Time is rather limited right now and my knowledge of gardening is nowhere near where some of ya'lls is. But I will chime in whenever time and knowledge permits Wink
