According to Mel, seven weeks before the last frost date (April 15th in our area) you can start the following seeds indoors:

Eggplant
Peppers
Lettuce
Swiss Chard

You can also start another batch of:

Cauliflower
Onions

Here in southern tier in NY, it's 12 weeks before our LFD. That means I planted my cabbage, broccoli, and onions! I'm very excited to start planting Smile
