Thank you for posting! The B&W pic is wonderful. Congratulations to you and your wife. Y'all dun good! Hope mommy is doing well.

I was born with jaundice, too. Mom and I had different Rh factors, although I don't know if that effected it. Thankfully, she avoided taking any dangerous meds for it.

And I turned out okay...at least that's what they tell me! Wink

I didn't do good, my wife did all the work! Laughing
We were really sensitive to the jaundice this time because my first daughter had jaundice and we had to be readmitted to the hospital one day after being released. I knew she had it as soon as I heard someone say her skin looks so clear and tan. I was like babies aren't supposed to be tan, they are supposed to be red and splotchy. Razz

I had my first son in Italy and they just took him away and when I asked what was wrong all they could say in English was, "The doctor will take care of him."

Thankfully my room mate was an Italian married to an American and she "gossiped" with the nurses and told me, "I don't know how it is said in English but it is when the baby turns yellow." PHEW!

Congrats GHG, that photo of you and your daughter in the garden is just gorgeous!

I'm glad the jaundice sorted itself out, both by boys had it, my second child only mildly but my first boy was readmitted twice and then transferred to the children's hospital because they couldn't figure out why the levels kept going up again. Turned out he had a rare form of anaemia which sorted itself out by the time he was 1 month old and we haven't had a problem since so I get the stress of being readmitted!
