Well another month has ended, and I was curious where the others in this region are at. Just got the boxes built? Mixed up some Mel's mix? Still trying to find the elusive fourth and fifth composts? Maybe somethings already planted.

As for myself, I finished building my boxes for this year. I filled up on 4x4 box and planted about half the squares. I just finished filling up my special octagon with soil for the roses I bought at the first of the month, and I was getting ready to plant them Saturday. Too bad Mother nature decided to send an April fools joke a day early, and the joke's still lingering around.

I guess I'll see if the spinach survives once the snow melts. If not, I guess I'll just plant more.

How are you others feeling? any more success?

Would have liked to be planted by now, but I still need to replenish the boxes with some good old compost. Maybe this week.

I know it is still kinda early in the year for this region. We'll check in next month, and hopefully things will be more exciting.
