I was out in the barn today and realized I still had some herb seeds left over and MM. I then went into the garage and found some little seed pots that I have had for ages. Hmmmm.

I think this will be a nice window to grow some indoor herbs over the winter. Its west facing and gets tons of light. Worth a shot anyways. I will update in a few weeks.
Notice the storm brewing in the hills!!! Shocked

That does look like a nice, sunny window for growing herbs, Rooster. I don't have a really suitable place near a sunny window for that purpose. I sure wish I did. Let us know how it works out!

I have a square of parsley that's just about to take over about half of one of my 4x4 beds. Does anybody know if parsley transplants easily? I'd love to move some of it elsewhere. Does anybody know if parsley will overwinter outside here along the Mississippi coast?

So far I have been really pleased with the results except for the cilantro. It just hasn't produced much. I think I may have waited a bit to long to start trimming on it. thinking I didn't keep a close enough eye on my basil and a few of the leaves got a bit to close to the lights and got a lil burned. Other than that, they have been giving up some nice fresh herbs!
