I have decided to try SFG next year and hope to find all kinds of information on this site.

I live near the boarder of IL/Wi near Lake Michigan.

Anyone recommend good seed catalogs and good types to grow?

Thanks,AutumnLane72

flower Welcome to the group! flower
I like Baker Creek (www.rareseeds.com) and www.tomatofest.com. There are lots more great ones out there, but I have to limit myself or I will spend hundreds of dollars on seeds that I don't have room to plant! lol!

Welcome aboard!! You have a great place to do your research and fill in your questions. Ask away and stop by the regional forum...N & C Midwest to say hi in there.

Get in, get active, and get ready for spring. It won't be long, and there's a lot of fun to plan if you are jumping in for the first time.

Post  Too Tall Tomatoes 11/7/2011, 10:21 am

Welcome aboard AutumnLane72.

I discovered this http://t.tatianastomatobase.com:88/wiki/Category:Tomato_Seeds

I found it last night and they seem to have a very extensive collection of tomato seeds as well as other veggies.
