My mishaps in the garden today
Believe I'm just clumsy in the garden...The package of carrot seeds fell open at the bottom and a bunch of seeds fell out over 2 squares, and I planted 16 scallions per square instead of only 9!!! I hope I do better Friday when I go out planting seeds again, 4 real!!!

If you're just wanting scallions, 16 per square should be fine. They don't need the room to bulb.

Thank you Denese, Happy to know my squares used for scallions will be ok. (phew))

Don't worry too much about your carrots, either. Someone of credibility (I can't remember who) on this forum broadcasts her carrot seeds like lettuce. As a result, I've broadcast some of mine, too, in my fall squares. Doesn't seem to be hurting a thing.....and it makes things easier to thin out because I don't have 5 seedlings coming from the same hole...lol.
