onion's sprouting?
ok....our onion's have all fallen over and we were waiting for them to get brown stem's/leaves.....what ever you call the green tall part on the onion...LOL....well...we just had a sunny day today after heavy rain fall for the last few days....as we were working in the gardens we came across 2 onions that were starting to grow a whole new onion sprout
Is this happening with others in the PNW?
we went a head and pulled all the onions out...( Walla Walla's) and the two that are sprouting turns out the onion was going rotten and it decided to start and grow a new onion.....is this normal?
the rest of them turned out great...not as big as i thought they would get...but ok size really....so we are drying them out now....the other two i planted back into the dirt.....so we will see what happens.....
hugs

Sorry, I have no idea if this is normal, but replanting seems like a good idea.
