EWWWWWW!!!
I pulled out my beautiful squash plants because they had been hit by squash borers. I opened them up and they were not the fat whitish wormy things! there was a BUNCH of dark brown centipede looking critters! So far I haven't found anything on google. any ideas???

after hours of searching, I found a post about MILLIPEDEs eating squash vines and squash vine roots. It says that millipedes eat organic matter. I know they are millipedes because I found the pics and these bugs looked just like em. MAybe the borer was already there and then the millipedes came in through the holes???
