Garden Layout Software
I was hoping for advice on a simple, Windows based software I could use to plan my garden. I am terrible with Visio and Excel so please don't go there. Thank you in advance.

Re: Garden Layout Software
bubba to SFG.
I just print out a grid of squares to match my beds then fill it in with pen or pencil.
lol
Seriously, I have seen some stuff in previous threads so I am sure someone will point you in the right direction. I am only a newby here as well so I do not have maty info on software.

Re: Garden Layout Software
Bubba, there are many out there,m but this one is really easy.
Try this free one from Gardener's Kitchen Supply EASY SFG PLANNER
It lets you designate a size 4 X 4 or 2 X 6, whatever fits you, then select the veggies and it tells you how many per square.
It does not save your plan, but you can email it to yourself and keep it on file for future reference.

You can also use the "print screen" feature and copy/paste it into MSPaint (in the accessories area of a windows based pc). Save that to your desktop for the future.

SFG program
The SFG program is great, but I wish you could add other vegetables. I realize you can change the name of an existing one, but not the picture and details.
