How to Root Tomato Suckers
Howdy Folks:
I have seen several posts from SFGers talking about rooting tomato suckers for new plants. The following link has some good info.

Re: How to Root Tomato Suckers
I actually did this for the first time. However I just took the suckers and placed the bottoms in an old water bottle filled with water on the window sill. After sitting in there for a week the roots filled the bottom of the bottle. I just put them in my garden on Thursday and they are doing wonderfully.

Re: How to Root Tomato Suckers
I just stuck a sucker in the ground yesterday. I had it in a mason jar with water on the counter for a week or two. Thanks for the link, I'll go check it out and see what I can do better next time.
How to Root Tomato Suckers
I stuck a nice sized tomato sucker in an empty square in my sfg several weeks ago. It looked pretty wilty for a couple of days, then perked up and seems to be doing fine! I just stuck it down in the MM, didn't even bother to root it first!

Oh this just really lights me up. I am HORRIBLE about getting tomatoes to grow from seed.
