Spring Garden productive in Boise, Idaho! Empty See photos in the Public Gallery...

Post  Jeff Foster 6/10/2011, 10:47 pm

Hello! I recently posted a photo of my 2009 and 2010 Square Foot Garden in the Public Gallery. One captioned “My 2009 Square Foot Garden”. The second “My 2010 Square Foot Garden”. I’ll post photos of my Spring 2011 SFG soon. Is there a better place to post photos than the Public Gallery? I have four 4x4s; one 4x8. I use 1/3 each of Vermiculite, Kellogg Garden Soil (five compostable materials ranging from Bat Guano to Worm Castings to Chicken Manure), and Peat Moss. Each year I add 2 inches of Kellogg Garden Soil to each 4x4 area to revitalize the soil. I make my own compost also….use that for my winter squash.

Jeff, I enjoyed your pictures. You have really done well and expanding from 2 - 4X4s in 2008 to 4 - 4X4s and a 4X8 in 2009 is pretty impressive. I like the layout and those are really nice boxes, very attractive.

Feel free to post your photos in the gallery but perhaps you would like to create a personal album, or you can post your photos right into your posts if you like. It would be especially nice if you posted photos when you are giving us updates on your progress, or if you have questions about a particular plant or condition.

In case you have not seen it yet, here is the link on posting photos HOW TO POST A PHOTO

Again, keep us updated.
