I am worried that I have some sick tomato plants. Take a look.

I am having problems uploading pics. I am going to try again in a minute. But here's one shot.

Here's another shot:

And another:

These are two different plants that are next together on the trellis.

I'm here, but I have no answers. This is the first year I've ever paid that much attention and I guess it is because of the close, intensive planting. I always just stuck em in the ground, put stakes and cages around them (or tied them to a fence) and picked what I got. The more I read about tomatos the more I wonder how we ever get a crop. thinking

It looks like the picture of iron deficency in the pictures of this link.

The link says that it can show up when plants are too cold.

Is my tomato plant sick? Empty Re: Is my tomato plant sick?

I had this exact same problem with my tomatoes and pepper plants, yellow in the middle leaves. After looking under the leaves to make sure it wasn't white fly infestation, I figured it was a deficiency in some nutrient. The transplants are taking a lot of the stuff from the soil and it's getting depleted. I don't mind using Miracle Grow, so I stirred up a tbs in a gallon of water that had been setting in a bucket (in other words, warm not cold water and it had been setting to get rid of the chlorine) and gave them all a couple of cups each. Most of them instantly greened up. Some waited til this morning to get greener. I'm also going to try some coffee as I've read they do like that too.
