NOV2010; WFET Transplants, Free to a good home
WFET = Wild Florida Everglades Tomato
I started these from seeds with the expectation that if I planted 12 seeds, I might get 1 or 2 viable plants .... but "beginners luck" bit me and I got 10 of 12.
I'm more of a large heirloom tomato guy & I'm a HOA-bound suburanite, so my space is limited. I simpy cant plant all of these in containers, along with all of the Russian Heirlooms I'm looking to plant this time around.
I have a half dozen extra WFET's that are on approximately 40 Days old & ready for their second transplant (to a 5" pot).
I've applied for my state permit to ship live plants, but don't have it yet & have no idea when to expect it to be approved/procesed.
So if your an SFG'r in Central Florida (I'm in Wesley Chapel ... 33559), willing to make a drive (I'm willing to drive within 60 miles of zip code on a weekend to meet ya) and interested in giving some WFET's a good home, please contact me via PM.
I'd also be happy to pot/stake/cage/trellis it in a 9"-12" pot for you, or have it in a 5" biodegradable/direct-plant jiffy-pot.
I could obviously give them away to just anyone, but I spent a lot of time on these & would like to see them go to someone I know would take care of them & give them a good home (which is why I'm posting here)
