Why I love SFG'ing...

Post  pattipan on 8/25/2010, 7:40 pm

...steamed fillet beans with toasted almonds and butter...sauteed yellow squash with shallots and red peppers (lemon pepper seasoned)...fresh-never-seen-a-refrigerator-vine-ripened heirloom tomatoes. Oh yeah, and we had meatloaf on the side!

Need I say more?

Lovely! And now I am starving - I haven't eaten yet today, but I did pick some fresh beans and tomatoes....

I saved LOTS of seeds from my WV '63 heirloom tomatoes. I'll post it on the seed exchange here when they are ready to mail out. I would love for someone else to taste them!

We've been growing them since the mid 1990's and think there is none better.

Can you just save the seeds from in the tomato?! Why does anyone buy seeds? (As you can tell... I'm new to all this!)
