Just joined!
I finally joined your forum, my first, because I have lots of questions about SFG how-to and supplies. Several local people took the sfg workshop course, given last month and there is great enthusiasm for the approach. I've already started a small 2 by 2 and the bush beans are appearing.
By way of introduction, I'm originally from the Northeast (Boston area) but have spent a good chunk of time in California and overseas (12 years in Africa and years also in the S. Pacific). After I retired, I decided to return to Hawaii which is the best place I've ever lived.
Looking forward to our back and forth,
Joan

Wow - Boston to Hawaii in one lifetime!
I know that there are some Hawaiians here.
We do all help each other, but some things are region-specific, like when to plant what obviously.
Just do me one favor - when you post photos of your garden, will you make sure not to include any background? which is the emoticon I use for "jealous but friendly!!!!"

Re: Just joined!
You are so fortunate to be able to travel to so many exciting places and then retire to Hawaii - good for you!
My son, daughter-inlaw, grandson (1yr old), husband & I spent 10 days on Maui last year and loved it. It was my husband & I first time there & also my grandson. The island is absolutely beautiful.
Welcome.
Happy Gardening....
