We never see ours. I have no idea where they nest, but we always have plenty of them.

Doves don’t make pretty nests. We had a pair in an old abandoned (nice) robin’s nest a few years ago. They raised a little brood, the nest was inside of a grapevine wreath on my porch, so we had a front row seat!
Love your allium bells, OG!

The flowers make a beautiful jelly! I'm told it has a very delicate flavor...

The Curly Kale and Swiss Chard have been in the ground for about a week, and are looking good. They appear to have adjusted to the transplant well. Now I need to get them mulched. The row between the blocks of Kale is Romaine Lettuce, which should be done before the Kale gets big enough to start shading it.

Nice stuff, OG and Windsor.Parker!
I need to get some pics, too... My sugar snaps are up. Radishes need thinning (yum). Spinach is kinda hinky? Not sure...Lettuces are great and I may be having a salad if I can get a break from the RAIN!!!!!

OG, Rainbow chard?
WP, nice set up and healthy looking starts.
SR, Yep, it's been a while since you posted garden photos.

Yes, it is. Last year they got so huge that they badly crowed each other, so this year I only put two plants per square instead of one. The Curly Kale are one plant per square, and they will use all of the space!
Can't wait to start eating fresh chard & kale!

Yes it did! Almost feel naked. This is the north side of the house so sun shade isn't so important except for a month or so.

So, I planted 5 or 6 Kohlrabi and 6 gold beets...Saturday. Thinned seedlings (radishes) and also picked some great leaves, mustard, (red Japanese lovely) lettuces and wonderful!
