Compost? Empty Compost?

Post  MrsM13 5/18/2010, 11:05 am

I don't have time to make compost, and can only find two kinds of compost at the local home depot. Can I use potting soil? Any suggestions?

Can you buy a different brand of compost at another home and garden place? If they are from different companies, they should be a little different.

Try a few different greenhouses close to you. I was able to find 2 different kinds at Menard's, and the other three at local greenhouses. I've started making my own compost so I won't have to depend on store bought so much. Just keeping an eye toward the future.

Thanks for the info, if they have 2 at menards, and 2 at home depot, I should be able to hit up the greenhouse near me to get 5. I plan on composting this summer, just haven't started yet.
