I've used covered 2-3' corrals to store dry leaves for spring composting. You guys have made me interested in trying one for leaf mold. I'll set it where the rain can reach it (rain rofl ), keep it moist, and turn it a couple times this winter. Maybe a bag or two.

Once the leaves are in my corral and winter comes, there is no way I will ever turn it untill Spring and it thaws.
This past Spring I spent three days (2 to 3 hours each day) turning it for the first time. It got easier the 2nd and 3rd times and the results were excellent, but whether it was worth the physical effort I doubt it.
This coming season I'll let nature takes its course and concentrate on easier tasks.
