Making our own homemade pasta sauce, all from the garden! Tomatoes, garlic, red candy onions, celery, basil and a teaspoon of salt. Whir in the Vitamix for about 2 min, put in freezer bag....DONE!! Man, is it yummy! Love the taste of the fresh celery. Our celery is soooo strong tasting, so a little goes a long way!!

Are you sure it is done.  It is going to be mostly juice and will have to be boiled down to use as a pasta sauce.  yesterday I used my new Roma Veggie Strainer and got 14 cups of tomato juice.  I boiled it down to the proper thickness for spaghetti sauce, added 1 lb of hamburger meat and only ended up with 4 cups of spaghetti sauce (including the 1 lb of meat).

we will simmer it down before use. Our Brandywines are coming on like crazy now, and this is a good way to keep up with them. We don't "can" etc; but want to use all of our goodies. We are getting about 4-5 HUGE maters a day, and 4 of them fill up our Vitamix Smile
