I Tried To Use this linked planner
but I can't find a way to copy and paste multiple plantings of the same plant.
Is there some way I am missing, or another planner that does that?
I have about 100 squares right now and plan to add more for next year.
I would like something more flexible.

I don't use it, so don't know how flexible it is. But, their home page suggests you can simply click on "Replant" to duplicate squares.

Re: SFG Garden Planner SITE ~ PERFECTLY SFG
I can't get that to work. I can't find a replant button at all. And the plant button at the bottom of the edit popup simply brings up another area to enter all the same information again.
I am probably in too much of a hurry to mess with it. I will just cavemen brute force it on Excel.
What I am really about is the start seed, transplant and harvest dates on a chert.
Thanks Anyway
I found I was able to copy and paste beds, that would work too.

The fact that this thread has gone 8 years without activity suggests there isn't a great deal of interest in automating SFG planning.
I've made my own design twice now, but the main problem is data entry (since I want to track history, not just one-time planning). I liked the idea of knowing when plants should be ready, but in the end, plants kind of follow their own schedule.

I have never seen a free planner, only free introductory periods!

I wouldn't expect much discussion if a workable solution, or at least a workable hope for a solution doesn't exist. There isn't much to talk about.markqz wrote:The fact that this thread has gone 8 years without activity suggests there isn't a great deal of interest in automating SFG planning.

It's just a matter of coming up with the right concept or idea that incorporates solutions to as many of the issues people have and have brought up here as possible. That's the easy part.
Then making the idea happen in preferably Excel since most people have that on their computer, that's the trick.
This is going on the back burner for awhile in my alleged mind.
In the mean time, what would you, meaning anyone like to see?

Why free? Two or three dollars a month at Territorial Seed, for example, with the first month free, is an excellent option.

Here's a link to the Territorial Seed app. I love that there's an SFG option, and it has many other useful features. Take a look!
