Fuchsias
Does anybody grow fuchsias (flowers) in there SFG? If so how many would you suggest I plant in each square?

I do not grow these, but the general rule of thumb for vegetables is:
If the seed packet says plant 3" apart = 16 per square
If the seed packet says plant 4" apart = 9 per square
If the seed packet says plant 6" apart = 4 per square
If the seed packet says plant 8" apart = 2 per square
If the seed packet says plant 10-12" apart = 1 per square
The formula is =(12 divided by the spacing on the package)2
I would assume the same is true for flowers???????

Yolos Thank you. However fuchsias are bulbs. They have a beautiful scent and are pastel colours I must admit I buy them from the £! shop. So they don't usually have spacings on the packet. But I can only try in my SFG. I think I will plant 9 and see what happens. If they get over crowed I will try fewer next years. Thanks for helping

I thought you meant fuschia, because it does grow in gardens over that way, at least it does in Ireland. I saw it as a hedge there.
