Tiny ants/ant mounds in pepper plant and oriental pea pod soil, killing plants

Post  tholt on 6/15/2013, 8:18 am

How do I get rid of them without killing the plants?? The plants have 2-3" single pepper on the plant, but now the foliage is turning yellow and the other peppers are very tiny.

I understand sprinkling cinnamon around the plants keeps away the ants.  I never tried it myself, but its been mentioned on this forum before.

If you have one nearby, check out Odd Lots/Big Lots for inexpensively priced spices.

There are many threads on this forum where the subject of ants has been discussed. Here is one such thread.
