Too late for zucchini ???
I've planted zucchini four times already this year, and still don't have any. Is it too late to try again in northeastern Pennsylvania? The first ones I started inside, and they did not transplant well. The second and third times either they did not sprout because of old seed or maybe something ate the seed. I bought new seed and they were just getting their true leaves when we had a heavy storm with tornado like winds that plastered them to the ground. Should I try one more time?
Re: Too late for zucchini ???
I would say, it's worth a shot! I'm going to try planing some as well, mostly as an experiment and also to fool the stupid SVB that's attacked my older zucchini. I've calculated it out that, at least in my area, there's just enough time left to maybe get a harvest. But since you're east and south of me, you'll probably do better than I will.

I think I'm going to try it. What can I lose ? Just a few seeds. I am just a few miles west of the Wilkes-Barre area. And my garden is on the more protected side of the house.
Re: Too late for zucchini ???
In a word, YES. If you don't try you will alway wonder.
