I am just getting started and found out that I should have already started my transplants for spring crops, considering the Central Fla last spring frost is only a few weeks away (a website said first week of March).

Is it too late for me to try for broccoli, cauliflower or spinach?

I would not try to start from seed, but go to the nursery and buy transplants and plant NOW. The heat affects these badly.

Hi Czarina! I'm in the Tampa area and I agre with Walshevak - too late for broccoli and cauliflower now. You can start some lettuce if you want, as long as it won't be full sun all day long. Do you have the Florida vegetable gardening guide from the extension? If not, here's a link (hopefully it will work!)
